When you schedule an imaging appointment with Premier Imaging Center, you will meet a staff that is highly professional, experienced, and committed to serving your needs and providing the best service possible.

Please arrive 20 minutes early for your scheduled appointment. Additionally, you must bring the following items for your exam to be performed:


  • Medicare and/or insurance cards
  • Picture ID or Driver’s License
  • Prior X-rays, if requested.
  • Information about current medications

  • MRI

    Allow 1 hour for the examination. Please let us know immediately if you have a pacemaker, an electromechanical device, an aneurysm clip, or any metal devices or pieces in your body. If you don't, you may not be able to have the exam. Also, please let us know if there is a possibility of pregnancy. Please avoid wearing jewelry, as this may interfere with the exam.

  • CT SCANS

    Allow 1 hour for the examination.

    CT Sinus, Spine, or Extremity:

    No preparation is necessary.

  • CT Abdomen/Pelvis:

    The day before your exam, please be sure to drink plenty of liquids. No solid food or drink 4 hours prior to your appointment time. You will be given a drink to allow us to see your intestines.

  • CT Head

    If your CT appointment is for a contrast exam, do not eat solid food for four hours prior to your appointment. You can drink clear liquids up to two hours prior to your appointment.

  • CT Neck, Chest (Thorax)

    The day before your exam, please be sure to drink plenty of liquids.

    No solid food or drink 4 hours prior to your appointment time.


  • Abdominal

    No food or drink past midnight.

  • Pelvic

    Drink 32 ounces of fluid one hour before the exam. Do not empty your bladder before the exam.

  • OB

    Drink 32 ounces of fluid one hour before the exam. Do not empty your bladder before the exam.

ENSURING YOUR SAFETY

At Premier Imaging Center, every exam room, as well as the waiting area, is meticulously cleaned before and after each appointment. We have increased the time between exams so that our staff can thoroughly sanitize all patient areas and medical equipment.

  • Do you have self-pay and co-payment options or discounts?

    Yes. We do have options available for patients with no insurance or co-pays. We also take most credit cards and CareCredit. Call our office before your exam to discuss payment arrangements and discounts.

  • What should I wear to the exam?

    Comfortable clothing. Avoid wearing anything with metal, including jewelry, zippers, and snaps. Those items will need to be removed before the test. Women can wear sports bras without metal.

  • How long will my exam take?

    Most exams take between 30-60 minutes.
